Date: January 10, 2019
(Sterling, Virginia—Jan. 10, 2019) ChinaAid, in collaboration with the ADAMS Center, the Uyghur Entrepreneurs Network and the Uyghur Human Rights Protection (UHRP), will host a persecution awareness night on Jan. 18 in order to highlight China’s abuses of various religious practitioners.
Called “China’s Unseen Genocide of Uyghurs, Christians & Other Faith Groups,” the event will spotlight the various means China uses to suppress people of faith, including imprisoning more than 1 million Uyghur Muslims in concentration camps. The groups also plan to outline how their efforts can help put a stop to the atrocities occurring in China.
The event will be held at the ADAMS Center at 46903 Sugarland Road, Sterling, Virginia 20164 on Jan. 18 at 6:30 p.m. EST. Dinner will be served. Although admission is free, those who wish to attend must RSVP at https://uyghur.eventbrite.com in order to determine the amount of food needed. Attendees will enjoy traditional Uyghur cuisine.
ChinaAid exposes abuses in order to stand in solidarity with the persecuted and promote religious freedom, human rights, and rule of law. If you wish to partner with us in helping those persecuted by the Chinese government for their beliefs, please click here to make a charitable donation.
