Good Friday Passion Prayer 2021

‘Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.’” – Mk 8:34

“They pressed into service a passer-by, Simon, a Cyrenian, who was coming in from the country, the father of Alexander and Rufus, to carry his cross.” – Mk 15:21

On Good Friday, Save the Persecuted Christians will be praying for our precious brothers and sisters in danger of death, violence, and captivity for following Christ. The number of heavily persecuted Christians globally went up by 80 million in 2020 according to Open Doors whose 2021 World Watch List now reports 340 million Christians facing daily perils. Will you be like Simon of Cyrene and help them carry the cross?

On Good Friday, Apr. 2 at 3-5 pm EDT, prayer hosts from all over the world will be online, via Zoom, praying for Persecuted Christians during our 3nd annual Passion Prayer for Persecuted Christians..

We will have hosts from all over the world who will be leading prayer throughout the 2-hour prayer vigil. JOIN THE WEBCAST at any time during the event. Prayer will be continuous. Pop-in and pop-out as you are able to join in prayer.

Added to our prayers this year will be our intentions for an end to coronavirus lockdowns and the placement of a protective shield over the suffering body of Christ who is at greater risk of persecution under cover of darkness and which has turned the world's attention away from their perilous plight.

For detailed information, Zoom conference logistics, and to sign up to receive prayer prompts and updates please visit our webpage for Passion Prayer 2020, and share with your family and friends.

Thank you for all you do!

Sincerely, your sister in Christ,
