More Follow Up From The IRF Summit
ChinaAid's media team has published several articles recapping the 2022 IRF Summit in Washington D.C in late June.

At the event, ChinaAid invited former Early Rain Covenant Church member Ren Ruiting to share her testimony about going through persecution in China as a Christian. Visit ChinaAid's website to read the main points of her speech.

Please also check out a few photos from ChinaAid's side event highlighting 'Religious Persecution in Xi's Digital Tyranny.'

Finally, we've uploaded recordings of our two IRF Summit side events on ChinaAid's YouTube page. Click here to watch both videos!

Please keep Ren and all members of Early Rain Covenant Church in your prayers, alongside everyone who has been digitally persecuted by CCP agents. Please also keep these government officials in your prayers.

Forced Labor For Jailed NGO Leader
In early July, the family of jailed NGO leader Cheng Yuan received three letters with disturbing details. In the letters, Cheng wrote how he was subject to forced labor after being transferred to Hunan Chishan Prison in January.

His wife, Shi Minglei, told ChinaAid how she and her family "cried for a long time" after reading how Cheng was forced to operate a sewing machine as part of persecution through forced labor, which led him to lose a lot of weight and have more grey hair.

At the 2022 IRF Summit - Shi and Luo Shengchun, the wife of jailed lawyer Ding Jiaxi - read a statement for their husbands.

Please keep Cheng and his family in your prayers, along with all the family members of those unjustly jailed in China.

Hong Kong Religious Crackdown Continues
ChinaAid's media team reported on comments from Msgr. Javier Herrera-Corona warned missionary groups in Hong Kong to get ready for tighter religious control. Herrera-Corona is considered to be the Pope's de facto China representative. Read more on ChinaAid's website.

Anglican priest Jonathan Aitken also made recent remarks about how "there are increasingly ominous signs" that Hong Kong religious freedom is "next on the hit list by the destructive forces" of Xi Jinping's regime. Read more of ChinaAid's coverage about the comments on our website.

Please keep all Christians and people of faith across Hong Kong in your prayers. Please also pray for the persecutors looking to clamp down on religious freedom in Hong Kong.
