Pastor John Cao released
After 7 years in prison, Pastor John Cao was released and got back to his home in Hunan on Sunday March 3rd. We rejoice with him and his family! Pastor Cao never wavered from his faith while in prison. You can read some of his prison poems in the book 'Living Lyrics.'
Pray for Pastor Cao's health and recovery after prison, and for his family.
2023 Persecution Report published
A week ago, we released our 2023 Annual Persecution Report, documenting the Communist Party's efforts to try and disband churches and replace Christian faith with Party loyalty. Read our full report here.

Sinicization efforts increase in 2024
Our reporting team documented efforts by Communist Party officials in 2024 to promote the 'Sinicization' or religion, with a goal to reshape the Gospel into a tool to uphold the CCP's rule. Here's several steps officials have taken so far this year.
