Pray for the Persecuted Church

Nov. 2 is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Just for following Jesus, millions of believers worldwide face violence, arrest, harassment, imprisonment, and even death. We encourage you to join us in this important global event, as we petition the Lord on their behalf.

Samaritan’s Purse works in many dangerous places where Christ followers are at risk. But God has given us ways to share the Good News in these dark corners of the world, including through Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes built online.

Build a Shoebox Online

After items are selected online, these shoeboxes are carefully prepared, abiding by strict standards to safeguard partners who will deliver the gifts. Many of them go to hard-to-reach areas across the globe and provide local believers a way to initiate relationships with those who may not know the Savior. Will you prayerfully consider building a shoebox online to let a child know how much God loves them?

Please join us on Nov. 2 as Samaritan's Purse hosts a Global Call to Prayer at 6 p.m. Eastern to intercede for the upcoming Operation Christmas Child season. We will also remember the persecuted church worldwide. Participate through samaritanspurse.org/occglobalprayer or the Operation Christmas Child Facebook page or YouTube channel.

If one member suffers, all suffer together; if one member is honored, all rejoice together.
