The Heartbreaking Push to Erase Christianity
In China's shadowed corners, devoted Christians like house church pastors endure unimaginable torment—electric shocks, forced renunciations, and family separations—under Xi Jinping's regime. Dehumanizing rhetoric labels them as "black categories," echoing historical atrocities against Falun Gong and Uyghurs, aiming to eradicate faith entirely.
Yet, in underground gatherings and quiet prayers, believers show profound resilience, drawing strength from their unyielding devotion. Pastor Bob Fu, a survivor of imprisonment, reveals this spiritual battle, where love confronts darkness. Amid rising controls on Catholics and Tibetans, their stories inspire hope for a world that stands in solidarity.
Pastor Bob Fu's shares uncensored updates: watch the interview with Jan Jekielek on American Thought Leaders now!
Join Us in Prayer: Father, strengthen all imprisoned pastors, leaders, and church members. Comfort their families, children, and churches. Provide for the legal battle to fight these injustices.

China's Proposed Ethnic Law Demands Parents Brainwash Kids
China’s legislature is deliberating a draft law, the Law on Ethnic Unity and Progress, aimed at legally mandating cultural assimilation and reshaping the nation’s ethnic landscape. The 62-article law transforms the ideological phrase “Forging a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation” proposed by Xi Jinping into legally binding provisions.
- Immediately, children from ethnic minorities must learn Mandarin in kindergarten, effectively ending bilingual education.
- Article 20 requires parents to educate minors to “love the Chinese Communist Party.”
- Article 14 de-ethnicizes architecture, symbols, and place names.
- Article 61 grants the Chinese government the right to hold individuals or organizations outside the country accountable for “damaging ethnic unity.”
For millions of non-Han people living in China, this law may sever their last legal link to their cultural heritage. Learn More Now!
Join us in prayer for the complete reversal of all 62 articles. We pray for immense international pressure from human rights groups and global leaders, including President Trump’s planned visit to China on March 31st, to achieve significant gains for religious freedom in China!

How Persecution Turns Church Generosity into 'Crime' in China
In the severe cold of Xi'an's Beilin Detention Center, 69-year-old Deaconess Pang Yu endures heart-wrenching pain from her chronic condition, denied proper care, while her husband, Pastor Gao Quanfu, and 40-year-old Pastor Tang Bingyi face similar hardships.
Detained since May 2025, they've been indicted on fraud charges, with authorities absurdly labeling over two million yuan in voluntary tithes and offerings as "fraudulent gains"—an insult to two millennia of Christian tradition. Amid illegal case splitting and obstructed legal defense, their faith remains unshaken, drawing strength from prayer and God's sovereignty.
Join us in prayer:
- That 69-year-old Deaconess Pang Yu, who suffers from heart disease, may be released on bail as soon as possible.
- That the Zion's Light case may be consolidated into a single case for trial.
- That the lawyers' defense work may be empowered by courage, faith, wisdom, and might from the Lord.
- That the Beilin District Court may uphold the authority of the Constitution and adjudicate according to conscience and the justice of the law.
- That the living conditions in the Beilin District Detention Center cells may become more humane, meeting the basic life needs of the detained criminal suspects.

147 Days Prolonged Detention Unbroken Spirit: Beijing-Zion Church
Ezra Jin Mingri and 17 other Beijing-Zion Church members have been detained for 147 days since the cross-provincial arrest operation on October 9, 2025. This crackdown, known as the “October 9” church case, is part of the Chinese government’s years-long crackdown on house churches.
Legal proceedings are facing technical delays. Despite being formally arrested in November 2023 on suspicion of “illegal use of information networks,” the investigation period has been extended twice. In mid-February, the task force applied for another two-month extension, citing the case’s complexity. This means the legal process is becoming a form of prolonged detention.
Ezra Jin and five other pastors were finally allowed to receive copies of the Bible late last year after legal negotiations. However, nine female co-workers held in the No. 1 Detention Center are still denied access to the Bible. This case is a litmus test for religious freedom and procedural justice in China. Read the latest on Zion Church here.
Join in prayer: Father, we pray Pastor Ezra Jin and the 17 detained church members would be strengthened. We pray they would not feel isolated but instead would feel Your presence and Your nearness because You are near to the brokenhearted.

Who is Pastor Wang Yi?
Wang Yi, pastor of Early Rain Covenant Church from 2005 until his arrest in 2018 for “inciting subversion of state power” and “illegal business operations.” He was sentenced to nine years in prison. Since then, only sparse details have emerged: one photo, three poems, and one message.
Wang Yi advocated for the church to be separate from the Chinese Communist Party. During his sermons, he regularly called upon Xi Jinping and his regime to repent. His wife last visited in October 2021; he's reported healthy but isolated. As of July 2023, there has been no update concerning Wang Yi.
Will you write to Wang Yi? Send Wang Yi a letter of encouragement today. Read the latest on Pastor Wang Yi.

Stand with Persecuted Families in China
, thank you sincerely for your unwavering support and prayers for China's persecuted believers. Your generosity has been a beacon of hope.
Today, I write with great urgency: ChinaAid has a unique opportunity to directly support persecuted families in China. Often, pastors, fathers, and husbands are arrested and detained, leaving wives and children without income. ChinaAid steps in to provide essential aid—meals for the imprisoned, education costs for children, travel for wives enduring 25-hour journeys to distant detention centers 1,400 miles away, and legal expenses to fight unjust charges.
Thanks to partners like you, we've aided over 100 families last year and aim for 150 this year. Released believers are now planting house churches and leading souls to Christ. Your gift makes an eternal difference. Will you give today? Even a small amount sustains faith amid trials.

“If someone attacks me, I will be meek as a lamb. But if someone attacks the Church, I will be brave as a lion. I remain silent if something happens out of God’s will. I have criticized the authorities before. It was not out of hatred, but out of love. When I make comments about authorities, nobody believes there is no hatred. But when I was arrested, I submitted myself to the authorities. That’s when people knew it was true, that I criticized the authorities out of love.” - Pastor Wang Yi
