Walking with the Persecuted Faithful: ChinaAid’s Latest Updates

Join us as we walk with the persecuted faithful. This week, Beijing-Zion Church Families expose systematic pressure against defense lawyers. The new 2026 Public Security Administration Punishments Law wreaks havoc on house churches. The Falun Gong case raises awareness at the U.S. Supreme Court in Cisco v. Doe I, and 3,152 Days Missing: Bob Fu Calls on Trump to Confront Xi for proof of life from Gao Zhisheng.

Together we stand with the persecuted, exposing injustices and safeguarding the vulnerable. Your partnership makes this vital work possible. Thank you for joining us in this urgent mission.

Zion Church Families Urge an End to Persecution of Defense Lawyers

In a moving joint statement, families of 18 detained pastors and co-workers from Beijing Zion Church have raised their voices after 165 days of separation. Their loved ones remain held in Beihai City detention centers on charges related to “illegal use of information networks.” Now the families face fresh anguish as the lawyers defending them endure systematic pressure—including investigations, warnings, forced suspensions, and threats of license revocation. These faithful families protest this assault on the right to a fair trial, calling it a violation of basic legal dignity. Continue Reading...

In the Shadow of New Laws, Chinese House Churches Cling to Hope

On January 6, 2026, police raided homes linked to Chengdu’s Early Rain Covenant Church, detaining Elder Li Yingqiang, his wife Zhang Xinyue, preacher Dai Zhichao, Ye Fenghua, and others. Their two young children, ages 11 and 14, spent a frightening night at the station before being released to their family. The couple and several core members now face charges of “inciting subversion of state power” while held in Deyang Detention Center.

This escalation follows the new Public Security Administration Punishments Law, effective January 1, 2026, which explicitly targets “illegal religious activities,” including offline gatherings and online sharing. Yet amid sealed facilities, surveillance, and family exhaustion, these believers support one another, continue quiet prayer, and proclaim the Gospel with unwavering trust in God’s presence.

Pray with us: Lord, we pray for Early Rain Covenant Church, Beijing Zion Church, and all the brothers and sisters in Christ who are detained right now. We pray that You would comfort them and their families. We pray for continued provision to cover legal fees and support for their families.

Falun Gong Believers Seek Justice in America’s Highest Court
(When Technology Enables Persecution)

Falun Gong adherents in China, targeted for their peaceful spiritual practice, have endured state-sponsored identification, apprehension, and torture—often aided by advanced surveillance tools. On March 26, 2026, the Washington Litigation Group filed an amicus brief in the U.S. Supreme Court in Cisco v. Doe I, supporting Reverend Bob Fu of ChinaAid and other defenders of religious freedom.

The plaintiffs allege that Cisco supplied customized technology that facilitated the Chinese government’s crackdown on Falun Gong believers. Rev. Dr. Bob Fu emphasized, “Religious persecution in China is not only carried out by the state—it is too often enabled by technology and silence.” Continue Reading...

Pray With Us:
Lord, we pray Matthew 10:26-28 for this case. “Therefore do not fear them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be revealed, or hidden that will not be known. What I tell you in the darkness, speak in the light; and what you hear whispered in your ear, proclaim upon the housetops.”

3,152 Days Missing: Bob Fu Calls on Trump to Confront Xi

In this exclusive ChinaAid interview, Dr. Bob Fu — founder of ChinaAid and a survivor of CCP persecution — breaks the silence on the enforced disappearance of Gao Zhisheng, China’s “Conscience of China." Missing since August 13, 2017, for over 3,152 days, Dr. Fu reveals Gao’s courageous fight for religious freedom, Falun Gong practitioners, house church Christians, Uyghurs, and the vulnerable — and the brutal torture he endured for speaking truth to power.

This sobering conversation calls on President Trump, Congress, and the world to demand one simple question: Where is Gao Zhisheng? WATCH NOW

Stand with Persecuted Families in China

,

Thank you — from the depths of our hearts — for your faithful prayers and generous partnership with China’s persecuted believers. You are the hands and feet of Jesus to families facing unimaginable trials.

Today we write with prayerful urgency. As China tightens restrictions on unregistered house churches, more pastors and fathers are being arrested and detained, leaving wives and children without income or support. Wives endure exhausting 25-hour journeys covering 1,400 miles to visit their husbands. Children struggle to continue their education. Legal battles drain what little resources remain.

Because of partners like you, ChinaAid was able to support over 100 families last year with practical aid — meals for the imprisoned, schooling for children, travel expenses, and legal help. This year we are prayerfully aiming to reach 150 families.

Will you give today to provide meals, education, and hope? Even $5 can deliver a nourishing meal to an imprisoned pastor, sustaining his faith and witness.

GIVE NOW

Thank you for your cheerful generosity. We are lifting you and these families before the Lord in prayer.

Gratefully in Christ,

Dr. Bob Fu
