What happens when American tech allegedly helps identify, track, detain, and abuse religious believers?
On June 23, 2026, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 against Falun Gong practitioners seeking justice from Cisco Systems. Plaintiffs alleged the company created customized surveillance technology, including advanced databases, real-time monitoring systems, and network optimization tools for China’s “Golden Shield,” that enabled Chinese authorities to identify, monitor, detain, and torture peaceful believers.

359 Days Without Dad: Children’s Heartfelt Cries Outside Prison
On Father’s Day, young children of three detained leaders from Maizhong Reformed Church stood outside Fuyang Detention Center in Anhui Province, their voices echoing with love and longing: “Happy Father’s Day! Daddy, come home soon.” 

For 359 days, Pastor Zhang Sen, Pastor Chang Shun, and Elder Ma Tao have been held for “organizing illegal gatherings”—simply leading worship and community life in their unregistered house church, banned in 2023 for refusing state control. A June 2025 raid swept up 19 members, including children. Yet amid tears and separation, families draw strength from faith, with sons and daughters writing tender letters of prayer and hope. Watch Here

• Father, we celebrate the 9 Zion church members released on bail, and thank you for the time they are able to spend with family. We also persevere in prayer for the other 9 members with escalating charges. We ask that you would guide their steps along this fight and plead for honorable just judges. 
• Lord, we grieve the awful atrocities committed against Falun Gong practitioners, Uyghurs, house church Christians, and other dissidents. We pray for healing from trauma for these families. We also cry out for justice. (Their blood is crying out Gen. 4:10)
• Father, we lament the Supreme Court’s ruling, but we press on in advocacy. We pray Congress would step in and legislate accountability. We pray for the Falun Gong families connected to this case. Encourage their hearts. 
• Lord, thank you for Dr. Gao Yingjia’s father and his mighty faith and trust in Your providence. We pray the charges against Dr. Gao Yingjia would miraculously be dropped. 
• Father, we plead for Pastor Zhang Sen, Pastor Chang Shun, and Elder Ma Tao and their children and wives. We declare John 14:18 “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.”
