Since October 2025, you have been faithfully praying for Pastor Ezra Jin Mingri. Today we rejoice with you and the global Body of Christ as this dear brother has been released from detention and safely arrived in Los Angeles on July 4, 2026—an extraordinary Independence Day miracle.

His unexpected freedom is an answer to countless prayers offered around the world and demonstrates once again that sustained international advocacy can save lives and restore freedom.

As we celebrated the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, Pastor Jin’s arrival on American soil serves as a powerful reminder that the universal longing for religious liberty transcends national borders.

Your steadfast prayers, generous giving, and tireless advocacy have been part of the labor that helped bring this victory. Thank you for standing with Pastor Jin and his family through months of uncertainty. Together we have seen God move.

Yet our hearts remain heavy for the eight other pastors and coworkers from Zion Church, along with countless other prisoners of faith still unjustly held.
