Together We Can Help Bring John Cao Home

We need your help. We have a brief window of opportunity to bring our dear brother and long-time friend of ChinaAid, Pastor John Cao, home to be reunited with his family.

John Cao is an American permanent resident who served seven years in a Chinese prison for his missionary work of establishing 16 schools serving more than 2,000 impoverished children near the China-Myanmar border.

He was released in March 2024. More than two years later, he is still barred from returning to his family in the United States. Now, advanced prostate cancer has metastasized to his bones. Time is critically short.

His wife, Jamie Powell, is an American citizen from North Carolina. Their two sons are American citizens. Their only grandchild, also an American citizen, has never met his grandfather.

President Xi Jinping visits the United States on September 24. ChinaAid is mobilizing believers to ask President Trump to personally raise Pastor Cao’s case and help reunite this family while there is still time.

Our goal is 100,000 signatures before September 24. Join the thousands who are signing and standing with Pastor Cao’s family. Your signature adds powerful weight to this collective voice.

This is not about politics. It is about compassion and our biblical call to “speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves” (Proverbs 31:8).

It is a husband, father, and grandfather fighting advanced cancer who simply wants to come home to his American family.

Your signature is a tangible act of advocacy and love. It takes only a moment. Sign now at → BringCaoHome.com.

After you sign, please share the link with your family, friends, church, and community. Every signature multiplies the plea for Pastor Cao’s freedom and healing.

Together we can help bring John Cao home.
