Pray for Iranian Christians

Our Christian brothers and sisters in Iran are intensely persecuted by the Islamic regime. Christians can be arrested simply for worshiping Christ in their own homes, and many are imprisoned under harsh conditions with long sentences. Anyone accused of distributing Bibles or having contact with people outside of Iran can face charges of espionage and apostasy if they converted from Islam. Both charges can result in death sentences.

Here are four ways you can pray right now for our persecuted Christian family members in Iran:

Pray that Bibles will continue to move into the country and into the hands of Christians.
One front-line worker requested, “Pray that God would speak to the believers, comfort their hearts and that their faith would grow.”
Pray that satellite TV channels with Christian broadcasts will effectively reach those in need of the gospel.
Arman, an Iranian Christian, asked for prayer that more Iranians will receive the message of Jesus and want to grow deeply in their knowledge of him.

Christians in hostile areas and restricted nations face opposition from Muslim family members or even militant Islamist groups. Your prayers and gifts help support our persecuted brothers and sisters and encourage them to remain faithful to Christ.
