Join Us as We Walk with the Persecuted Faithful

This Week: Hunan police seal a basement house church and detain its organizer for 15 days; Guangzhou authorities expel a 20-year-old church after seizing gospel materials; and a new study finds the CCP control leaves several million Chinese Christians without Bibles.

This is the reality believers are facing right now in China.

Basement Bible Study Ends in Detention
Police in Leiyang City, Hunan Province, sealed a basement house church near a local hot spring and ordered its Christian organizer detained for 15 days, according to a redacted administrative penalty decision issued on September 21 by the Leiyang City Public Security Bureau. The believer, who began practicing the faith in 2014, had purchased and renovated the space where dozens gathered on Sundays for evangelism and Bible study. Continue Reading…

Police Evict 20-Year House Church, Gospel Fans Seized
Police in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District forced Guangfu Church from its rented meeting space after seizing Gospel materials on September 16–17, 2026. Youth under 18 are barred from church activities, cutting off the next generation. Continue Reading…

Pray With Us:

  • Father, we lift up the Leiyang City house church. The Holy Spirit is our promised Comforter; we ask for supernatural peace, comfort, and encouragement.
  • Lord, we pray for Guangfu Church, Pastor Lv, and the two female believers. Strengthen their faith and provide righteous lawyers to defend their case.
  • Father, we pray for those 10 million in China without access to Your Word. We pray for creative divine ways for Bible access. We also pray for provision for ChinaAid’s own Bible project and all organizations working on Bible access in China.
