"Prayer is the forerunner of mercy. Turn to sacred history, and you will find that scarcely ever did a great mercy come to this world unheralded by supplication."  Charles Spurgeon

Isaiah 59:1-2
“Surely the arm of the LORD is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your GOD; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear.”

Many believers will cry out to GOD for help or guidance and will hear nothing in return.
GOD appears to be silent and refusing to answer and they wonder why.  As they are crying out to GOD, they are also living in willful sin. They continue to sin on purpose, with no mind to change.  In doing so, they are trampling on what JESUS has done for them and rejecting GOD, even while claiming to follow Him.  -EXAMINE your life and see if you are allowing sin to reign in some area of your life.  Be willing to go to JESUS and seek His forgiveness. He is willing and ready to forgive you of your sins and cleanse you.
(1 John 1:9).  Once your life is clean again before GOD, your prayers will get through without hindrance. A pure heart is what draws Him to listen to our prayers.

Prayer:
LORD, I pray today that as I see sin in my life and repent of all sins, Your forgiveness and compassion will put a desire in my heart to seek to live for You, honor and please You in every area of my life; and that having done what honors and pleases You, You will graciously hear and answer all of my prayers for Your glory, in CHRIST’s Name.
AMEN!
