Romans 7:5,15
“For while we were living in the flesh, our sinful passions, aroused by the law, were at work in our members to bear fruit for death.”
Romans 7:17-20
“17-So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. 18-For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out. 19-For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing. 20-Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.”
My dear brothers and sisters in CHRIST, given the present and ever- increasing wickedness in today’s culture, it is high time to deal with our flesh so that it will not disqualify nor hinder us from making the RAPTURE! JESUS IS COMING SOON! And one of the things that will make repentance to be complete and genuine is to FORSAKE ONE’S SINS once and for all after we have recognized, renounced repented and confessed sin.
This is the most difficult part of Repentance for many Christians. Question: Why Is it difficult to forsake sins? The answer is MR FLESH! That is why it is important to deal with our flesh so that we can totally forsake all the sins in one’s life. The Bible instructs us reckon ourselves dead to sin. This is only made possible with a life that’s sanctified and fully surrendered to the HOLY SPIRIT! That’s the reason why JESUS said, “we must be born again.” Hallelujah! Praise GOD!
Prayer.
LORD JESUS CHRIST, who conquered the carnal flesh, change me from a natural person to a spiritual person, from a fleshy/carnal person to a spiritual person, and from a sinful person to a righteous person. I praise and thank You that through the power and presence of the HOLY SPIRIT in my life, I can do all things through CHRIST who gives me strength and empowers me to overcome my fleshy nature.
