Jeremiah 31:33-34
33 “This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time,” declares the LORD. I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts.  I will be their GOD, and they will be my people.
34 “No longer will they teach their neighbor, or say to one another, ‘Know the LORD,’ because they will all know me, from the least of them to the greatest,” declares the LORD. For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”  —This is one of the most significant passages, not just in Jeremiah, but in all of the Old Testament as we see a promise of a New Testament, a new covenant to come through JESUS.

What is the main difference between the Old and new covenant?— The main difference between the Old and New Covenants lies in their foundation and how they establish a relationship with GOD. —The Old Covenant, centered around the Law and rituals, emphasized outward obedience and sacrifices for forgiveness. —The New Covenant, fulfilled through JESUS CHRIST, focuses on grace and redemption, offering a personal relationship with GOD based on faith and love.

This new covenant is to be everlasting. GOD will write His law on the hearts of His people, bring complete forgiveness of sin, and raise up a faithful king from the line of David - JESUS CHRIST, who will restore all that has been broken because of sin.

Prayer:
Gracious FATHER, we thank You for the promise in Jeremiah 31:33-34, where You declare that You will put your law within us and write it on our hearts. We rejoice in this new covenant, where You are our GOD and we are your people.  Help us to live in accordance with the law You have placed within us, and guide us to understand Your ways more deeply. May we no longer need to be taught to know You, but instead, may we experience the joy of knowing you personally, from Your Word and the HOLY SPIRIT.  LORD GOD, cultivate in us a deeper desire for You, a longing for Your Word , and a love for obedience, not out of duty, but out of the delight we find in You. May our lives reflect the love and grace You have shown us in CHRIST, and may we be instruments of Your peace and love in the world.  We ask for Your guidance, wisdom, and strength as we strive to live in obedience to Your law and grow closer to You. We praise You for this incredible new covenant, and we pray these things in the Name of JESUS CHRIST, our LORD. Amen.
