Matthew 11:28 -30
28 -“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29-Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30-For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”
Are you sick and tired of being sick and tired? It’s time to seek and consider JESUS’ invitation.
JESUS offers a powerful message of invitation and rest. It's a call to acknowledge our weariness, come to JESUS , and find respite in Him. This Bible passage reminds us that JESUS offers a gentle and easy yoke, a burden that is light when we trust in Him and learn from Him. JESUS CHRIST is our burden-bearer. In Him we find true and genuine rest. He invites us to cast our burdens upon Him, because He cares for us. When we do, we find relief and peace in His promise. Today, let us unburden and exchange our heavy loads for His easy yoke, to learn from His gentle and humble heart, and to experience the rest He promises.
Prayer:
Heavenly FATHER, thank You for Your kind invitation for us to lay our burdens before You.
I acknowledge that I am weary and burdened by the cares of life, and I come to You now, LORD, and lay my burdens at Your feet. I choose to trust in Your gentle and humble heart. Help me to learn from You and to experience the rest You promise to those who come to You. Thank You for Your easy yoke and light burden. In JESUS’ Gracious Name, I pray. Amen.
