PSALM 69:13
“But as for me, my prayer is to you, O LORD. At an acceptable time, O GOD, in the abundance of Your steadfast love answer me in Your saving faithfulness.”

Psalm 69:13 is a declaration of unwavering trust and commitment to GOD amidst hardship, emphasizing the psalmist's decision to direct his prayers to GOD alone and to wait for His perfectly timed, faithful answer. This devotional highlights the importance of aligning our will with GOD’s will, trusting His unshakable love, and persevering in prayer even when circumstances seem dire. The prayer is a fervent plea for GOD’s timely intervention, acknowledging His abundant mercy and seeking His sure salvation, even as we confess our own anxieties, troubles and weariness. This prayer teaches us to keep our focus on GOD as our sole source of hope and deliverance, rather than relying on our own strength or others. It’s also saying that our timeline may not be GOD’s timeline. We are called to pray and wait with faith, believing that His timing is perfect and His love is steadfast, even when we feel forgotten or ignored. Just believe and the LORD will answer in His time.

MARK 11:24
“Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.”

This points to the LORD’s unwavering character of love, faithfulness, and compassion. Our faith is not about our circumstances, but in WHO GOD IS, and the PROMISES HE HAS MADE.

Prayer:
"Heavenly FATHER, I pray to You, O LORD, not to idols or worldly wisdom, but to You alone. In this acceptable time, though my heart is heavy with pain, in the abundance of Your lovingkindness, answer me with Your saving faithfulness. I am weary, LORD, and in trouble, but I trust that You hear my cries and will deliver me in Your appointed time. Thank You for Your steadfast love and for hearing my prayer, in the powerful Name of JESUS, Amen.
