1 Corinthians 3:16
"Do you not know that you are GOD’s temple and that GOD’s SPIRIT dwells in you?"
This powerful question from the Apostle Paul calls us to a profound realization: we, as believers, are not just individuals, but a sacred space where the HOLY SPIRIT resides. Our bodies and minds are not ordinary, but are hallowed grounds, a temple for the Divine. This knowledge should transform how we view ourselves, our actions, and our thoughts, reminding us that our lives have inherent value and a holy purpose. We are to care for ourselves as if we are caring for GOD’s own dwelling place, treating ourselves and others with the reverence due to our holy, precious and righteous GOD.
Prayer:
"Heavenly FATHER, we thank You for the incredible truth that we are Your temple, filled with Your SPIRIT. We stand in awe that You choose to dwell within us. Forgive us, LORD, when we forget this sacred truth and fail to live in a way that honors Your presence. Help us to be ever aware that we are sacred vessels carrying You, and may we treat ourselves and every fellow believer with deep reverence and care. Give us the wisdom and strength to be good stewards of Your temple, nurturing our physical, mental, and spiritual lives so that Your glory may shine through us. In JESUS' Sacred Name, we pray. Amen.
