ISAIAH 33:22 “For the LORD is our Judge, the LORD is our Lawgiver, the LORD is our King; He will save us.”
Isaiah 33:22 assures believers that GOD is their ultimate judge, lawgiver, and king, and that He will save them.
These three roles tell us of His continued guidance, protection, and saving grace in all aspects of life.
GOD’s role as JUDGE means He sees all and will judge righteously, but His judgment is rooted in grace and a desire to save, not condemn. He has already taken our guilty verdict upon Himself through JESUS. As our LAWGIVER, GOD has given us His perfect law. He doesn't just give us rules, but He also provides the HOLY SPIRIT to help us follow them and forgives us when we fail. GOD is our kING who rules over all and is worthy of our worship. He is a loving and kind king, not an angry judicial monarch waiting for us to fail. He is also our provider and protector, sustaining us through our struggles. Ultimately, all of these roles are united in His promise: "HE will save us.” We can trust Him with our entire life and future, knowing He is our hope and deliverer.

Glorious Heavenly FATHER , we praise You for being our righteous Judge, our perfect Lawgiver, and our mighty King. Thank You for Your grace, which saves us through Your Son, JESUS CHRIST. Thank You for Your law, which guides us, and for Your SPIRIT who helps us live it out. Thank You for being our King who protects, provides for, and saves us. We gladly entrust our lives and futures into Your hands. Help us to serve You faithfully and live according to Your will in all that we do. In the most gracious and powerful Name of JESUS , Amen.
