Hebrews 11;:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him; for he that cometh to GOD must believe He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him”
Ephesians 2:8-10
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of GOD — not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are GOD’s handiwork, created in CHRIST JESUS to do good works, which GOD prepared in advance for us to do.”
To please GOD, one must have faith, seek His will, and live a life of good works that honors Him. To please GOD means living as "children of light," carefully examining what is in your heart and mouth to ensure it produces only "what is good and right and true," and focusing on GOD rather than the things of this world. Pleasing GOD is a daily effort of following His will and living a life that reflects His light.
Ephesians 5:8-10, “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the LORD. So live as people of light! For this light within you produces only what is good and right and true. Carefully determine what pleases the LORD.” —This means having faith, trusting in GOD’s plan, and making conscious choices to align your actions and thoughts with His will.
Prayer:
My Heavenly FATHER, please help me to be ever conscious of what I'm putting into my heart, so that I can please You with a lifelong, faith-filled witness to Your presence and power. May the words that leave my mouth. be inspired by Your HOLY SPIRIT, and may my life be more honoring to You every day, and my faith be pleasing to You. I pray that by the time I leave this earth, there will be nothing left of me but only You, I pray this for Your praise, honor and glory, in the great and mighty Name of JESUS, Amen
