ISAIAH 40:31
"but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint".

Isaiah 40:31 is a powerful promise of divine strength for those who trust and wait on GOD, promising they will renew their strength, soar like eagles, run without growing weary, and walk without fainting, offering hope that GOD provides resilience to overcome life's exhaustion and challenges, especially during silent or difficult seasons. The focus is on shifting reliance from self to GOD, embracing patient trust, and finding renewal through prayer and contemplation, even when GOD feels distant. The core is "those who wait/hope in the LORD" (Hebrew means to hope, trust, or anticipate). It’s a posture of restful dependence, not passive waiting, but actively trusting GOD. When we feel exhausted, weary and overwhelmed (like youth and strong men who stumble), GOD offers His strength, renewing us from the inside out. The Imagery of an Eagle soaring symbolizes rising above problems with confidence, power, and effortless ascent, a picture of GOD carrying His people through storms. Running and Walking with Endurance extends to daily life. You and I will have the stamina to keep on going in our spiritual race without giving up or fainting because greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.  This verse also addresses the discomfort of GOD’s silence, using it as a time to deepen trust, much like a quiet, trusting presence in a relationship.

PHILIPPIANS 4:13
“I can do all things through CHRIST who strengthens me.”

Prayer:
My Heavenly FATHER, I surrender my fears and anxieties. Help me to wait on You, trusting that You will give me the power to soar, run, and walk through life's challenges, even when I feel I have nothing left to give. Thank You for being my everlasting strength. Please empower me to live with integrity, kindness, and perseverance, reflecting Your glory and drawing others to You as I rely on Your sufficient grace. Strengthen me for the everyday moments, so that I can face life's biggest mountains with Your might. In JESUS’ powerful Name, Amen.
