Trusting GOD means relying on Him instead of our own understanding, especially in tough times, by quieting our heart, reading His Word like Proverbs 3:5-6 and Isaiah 43:2, and asking Him to guide our steps and strengthen our faith, knowing He's always with us and works all things out for our good, even when we cannot see His way.

PROVERBS 3:5-6
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

ISAIAH 43:2
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.”

We often try to figure everything out ourselves, relying on our own limited wisdom, which leads to anxiety. GOD is calling us to a deeper dependence and reliance on Him and His word. When things are unclear, instead of leaning in, we lean on Him. This involves quieting our inner noise, laying down our worries, and submitting our plans to His. The LORD promises to guide and straighten our paths when we acknowledge Him in everything. He's with us in the fire and the flood (Isaiah 43:2) and works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28 - implied by context of trusting Him and His timing.

Prayer:
My Faithful Heavenly FATHER, I thank You for being my constant guide and source of strength. I confess that I often try to take control and lean on my own understanding, which brings fear and doubt. LORD, please help me to trust Your timing, Your Word, and Your perfect plan, even when I can't see the way forward. Soften my heart to be more moldable and less self-reliant. Fill me with Your presence so I can walk in faith, not doubt nor worry. Strengthen me with Your righteous right hand, as You promised in Isaiah. Help me to say, "If the LORD wills," and truly mean it. May my life reflect Your purpose and Your will, for Your praise, honor, and glory. Thank You for hearing my prayer, in JESUS’ Sovereign Name, Amen.
