Ephesians 6:10-18 (The Armor of GOD)
10 “Finally, be strong in the LORD and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of GOD, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of GOD, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. 16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the SPIRIT, which is the Word of GOD. 18 And pray in the SPIRIT on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the LORD’s people.”

Here's a short devotional focusing on putting on GOD’s spiritual armor for a fresh week, with a prayer for guidance, strength, and purpose, reminding us to trust GOD’s peace, power and presence as we start a new day and a brand new week ahead. —It's Monday, a fresh start! Instead of dreading the week, let's put on our spiritual armor: truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, peace, and prayer (Ephesians 6:13-18). This armor helps us hear GOD’s  voice, not the world's noise and worries, reminding us that we are loved, forgiven, accepted, protected, and strong in CHRIST JESUS. Let us, His sons and daughters in CHRIST JESUS’ Name, make this week’s theme be: "I am GOD’s masterpiece, created in CHRIST JESUS, to do good works, which GOD has prepared in advance for me to do, as I walk in the HOLY SPIRIT’s power, presence, protection, and provisions, for Your praise, honor, and the glory of Your amazing and great Name.”

Prayer:
Glorious Heavenly FATHER, thank You for this new day and the fresh new start of this week. As I step out, I ask You to clothe me in the fullness of Your armor: the helmet of salvation, the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shield of faith, the sword of the SPIRIT, shoes of peace, and prayer. Please guide my choices with Your wisdom and give me discernment for every decision. Fill me with Your HOLY SPIRIT to conquer and prevail over every distraction and live vicariously with purpose, in accordance to Your divine will, reflecting Your love and glory in my life, my family, my relationships, my home, my livelihood and my quiet moments. Thank You for being my strength, my joy, and my constant companion. In JESUS’ gracious Name I pray, Amen.
