Psalm 102:25-27 (NIV)
* Verse 25: "In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of Your hands."
* Verse 26: "They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will change them and they will be discarded."
* Verse 27: "But You remain the same, and Your years will never end."

Psalm 102:25-27 contrasts the temporary, changing nature of GOD’s creation (the earth and the heavens) with GOD’s eternal, unchanging self, affirming that while the cosmos will wear out like old clothes and be replaced, GOD remains the same, with endless years, highlighting His immutability.

On this last day of the year, December 31st, it’s important that we all focus on gratitude for GOD’s faithfulness through the past year and hope for the future, asking for strength and guidance to embrace new beginnings in CHRIST JESUS, trusting His unchanging love and promises for the coming days, as seen in scripture reminding us that GOD remains the same while seasons change, inviting reflection on His blessings and preparation to walk forward with faith in CHRIST JESUS.

2026 - A Year of Grace & New Beginnings

* Let’s reflect and take a moment to thank GOD, our Heavenly FATHER for the specific ways He's carried you and me through challenges and blessed us this past year, remembering His unwavering presence from January to December. GOD is faithful!!

* Scripture Focus: (NIV): "In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing you will change them and they will be discarded. But you remain the same, and your years will never end.”

* Key Thought: Just as the earth changes, so does life, but GOD’s nature and promises are constant. This offers stability and hope as we look forward to a new year, trusting Him to be our constant strength and refuge.

* HEBREWS 13:8 “JESUS CHRIST is the same yesterday and today and forever.”

Prayer:
Dearest Heavenly FATHER, thank You for Your faithfulness, love, and protection throughout this past year. Thank You for carrying me through every joy and every challenge, reminding me that You never left my side. As this year ends, I ask for Your wisdom and grace to let go of the past and embrace the new life You have for me. Empower me by Your HOLY SPIRIT to walk forward with courage, trusting in Your unchanging promises and knowing You remain the same, yesterday, today, and forever. May my life be a testimony to Your goodness in this new year 2026. Please use my family and I to point people to You and that we will commit ourselves daily to honor, praise, and glorify You, in JESUS' Most Marvelous Name, Amen.
