To consecrate yourself means to dedicate your entire being—mind, body, and soul—to a sacred purpose or GOD, setting yourself apart as holy and for His service, often involving a commitment to a deeper spiritual life, purification, and following divine will.

Consecrate Yourself…
* Joshua 3:5 (NIV): “Joshua told the people, “Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you.”

* Leviticus 20:7 (ESV): "Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your GOD."

* Romans 12:1 (NIV): "Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of GOD’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GOD—this is your spiritual act of worship."

The primary "consecrate yourself" verse is Joshua 3:5, where Joshua tells the Israelites, "Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do amazing things among you," urging them to prepare for GOD’s miracles as they approached the Promised Land, a call to holiness and dedication.

In the New Testament, it's about living holy lives and presenting ourselves to GOD as instruments of righteousness, not sin. It is a conscious awareness of separating ourselves from the world to doing GOD’s good, pleasing, and perfect will.

PRAYER:
O LORD JESUS, with Your help and Your power, today I consecrate everything to You – all I had, all that I have, and all I will ever have; all I have been, all I am, and all I will ever be. I offer it all up to You, LORD. I consecrate to You my time, my possessions; reputation, family, relationships, accomplishments, and ministry to You. My LORD and my GOD, I consecrate and offer up my hopes, dreams, desires, and will to You, O LORD GOD ALMIGHTY. They all belong to You, for You alone own the heavens and the earth, even the cattle on a thousand hills. I consecrate all of these to You for Your purposes and Your glory. I consecrate each day to You. I consecrate my hands, my eyes, my thoughts, my words, emotions, and my actions to You every day. I offer them all to You as “instruments of righteousness”. Sanctify all of these, that they may be “living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to GOD.” LORD JESUS, I offer up and consecrate to You all my pain, hurt, anger, hatred, sin, fear, anxieties, bitterness, resentment, sorrow, and unforgiveness – all of the defiling, desecrating, and unrighteous acts done by me and done to me. JESUS, I want to be holy and whole. Heal me emotionally, deliver me spiritually. Heal my body. Set me free from sin, shame and guilt, depression and despair. Break any curses spoken over me by myself or others, known or unknown. Today I bind my heart to Your heart. I bind my mind to Your mind. I bind my will to Your will, and I bind my ways to your ways. Please make me like You, LORD JESUS-loving GOD with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength; and loving others as I love myself. Help me to make You first, so that I can serve You and others with no thought of my own reward. LORD, I trust You. Help me now to place all in Your hands, for You are Faithful. Apart from You, none of these is possible. There is no better place to live than under the wings of my Savior, JESUS CHRIST, the Lover of my spirit, soul, and body – my LORD and my GOD, my FATHER, my Protector, my Deliverer, and my great Healer. I ask all these in Your powerful Name, JESUS CHRIST, MY LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, Creator and KING of the universe; believing by faith that today, this year, Your great work in my family’s and my own, has already begun, for Your praise, honor, and glory, Amen.
