Lamentations 3:22-24
“The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness. 'The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, 'therefore I will hope in Him.’”

Today, January 3rd, we focus on GOD, our Heavenly FATHER’s unfailing faithfulness and mercy, using Lamentations 3:22-24 as a foundation, encouraging us to let go of past regrets to embrace newness in CHRIST, grow in CHRIST, build community for CHRIST, and stand firm in principle, trusting in the HOLY SPIRIT’s wisdom, guidance, and direction for the year ahead. His consistent love offers fresh starts daily, calling us to trust Him, release past burdens, and grow in faith and strengthen connection with others.

The LORD’s mercies renew each morning, empowering us to leave behind yesterday's mistakes and regrets (Hebrews 12:1). Embrace the "newness" the FATHER offers, growing in truth and love, and leaning into community, for in Him, we find purpose, meaning, and peace.

Hebrews 12:1 (NIV)
“Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”

PRAYER:
Dearest Heavenly FATHER, thank You for the gift of this new day and for Your mercies that are new every morning. LORD, I confess my tendency to dwell on past mistakes or hurts. Help me release guilt, shame, and anger, casting these anxieties on You. Give me freedom from my past so I can look forward to the future You have for me. Strengthen me to grow beyond my present spiritual condition, to stand firm in truth, and to build loving, authentic community with others. Help me make a stand for righteousness in small, principled ways, trusting Your SPIRIT’s wisdom to guide my steps this year. May I be a person of principle, rooted in Your unfailing love, finding rest in You as You work all things in my life for Your honor, praise, and glory. In JESUS' Merciful Name, Amen.
