PHILIPPIANS 1:6 (NIV) “being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of CHRIST JESUS.”
JESUS promises to complete the good work He starts in us (Philippians 1:6), meaning He will transform us to be like Him, even when we struggle; trust in His faithfulness, knowing He won't abandon us but will finish shaping our character until He returns, making us more holy, righteous, and resilient.
Like a potter, GOD begins a work in us, not a project, but a deep transformation, making us more like JESUS. This isn't always easy or fast; it's a process of sanctification, where He uses daily challenges and circumstances to mold our character, hearts, minds, and actions. When we feel imperfect or stuck, remember we’re like clay in His hands, and He is committed to finishing what He started, bringing you and I to completion when JESUS CHRIST returns.
JESUS Is the same yesterday, and today, and forever (HEBREWS 13:8). As YAHWEH, He did the same for Israel in the days of Joshua. JOSHUA 23:14 (NIV), “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the LORD your GOD gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.
Prayer:
Dearest LORD JESUS, thank You for beginning this good work in my life. I surrender to Your process, trusting You to continue shaping and transforming me, even when I don't see the full picture or understand the challenges. Please do whatever You need to do today to make me more like You—form my character, transform my heart, and align my will with Yours. Please help me to hold on to You, knowing You won't quit on me or abandon this work, but will carry it on to completion until the day You return. I pray this in Your Steadfast Name, Amen.
