2 CORINTHIANS 5:18-19
“But all these things are from GOD, who reconciled us to Himself through CHRIST and gave us the ministry of reconciliation that is, GOD was in CHRIST reconciling the world to Himself, not counting people’s sins against them. And He has committed to us the message of reconciliation.”

2 Corinthians 5:18-19 reveals that GOD has reconciled believers to Himself through CHRIST, removing the barrier of sin, and has entrusted us with the "ministry of reconciliation"—a divine calling to share this message of peace and restoration with the world. We are ambassadors for CHRIST, tasked with bringing people back into a restored relationship with GOD.

The Ambassador's Mission
Reconciliation means that although we were once separated from GOD by sin, He has reconciled us to Himself through JESUS. The most incredible part of this message is that GOD does not count our sins against us, having placed that burden on CHRIST JESUS. However, this grace is not meant to be kept to ourselves. We are given the "ministry of reconciliation"—a mission to bring others into this same peace.

Being an ambassador means you are a representative of heaven on earth. You are called to bring harmony and restoration wherever there is brokenness. Your life, filled with the joy of your own reconciliation, is a living invitation to others to turn away from sin and toward the life found and given in CHRIST. You and I are not a passive recipients of grace, but an active participant in GOD’s great mission to draw the world to Himself.

Prayer:
Dearest FATHER GOD, thank You for the incredible gift of reconciliation. Thank You that through Your Son JESUS CHRIST, my sins are not counted against me, and I have been brought into a close, loving relationship with You through faith in Him. LORD, I thank You for entrusting me with the ministry of reconciliation. Please empower me by Your HOLY SPIRIT to be a faithful ambassador for CHRIST. Open my eyes to the opportunities around me to share this wonderful message of peace with a broken world. Help me to represent Your love and grace well, inviting others into the same joy I have found in You. In JESUS’ Name, I pray. Amen.
