PSALM 32:8 (NKJV)
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye."
It is a divine promise of personal, attentive guidance, where GOD acts as a watchful guide, offering counsel and direction to those who trust in Him.
GOD promises to instruct and teach, providing a clear path for life. The phrase "guide you with My eye" signifies intimate, loving, and vigilant oversight. The context (v. 9) suggests not being stubborn like a mule, but rather voluntarily submitting to GOD’s direction. It acts as an anchor during times of fear or when one does not know which way to turn. It represents GOD’s commitment to giving advice through His Word and SPIRIT. This verse is often used to remind believers that GOD is not distant, but deeply involved in directing their steps. Do you know that the GOD of all creation has a special plan and purpose for you? People are going every which way trying to seek satisfaction from things created, many are deceived and the result is getting farther and farther away from GOD’s plan and purpose for their lives. Wake up!! Return to GOD and trust His plans and purpose for your life! And He will guide you in the way you should go.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER, thank You for Your promise to instruct and teach me in the way I should go. LORD, I am facing decisions and need Your divine guidance. I surrender my own stubborn ways and ask that You guide me with Your loving eye. Please counsel me, LORD, and help me to discern Your path. When I am confused or lost, let me feel Your presence and trust that You are watching over me, keeping me safe. I choose to walk daily in Your ways, trusting that Your, plan is better than my own, in JESUS’ gracious and loving Name, Amen.
