Psalm 72:18-19 NIV
"Praise be to the Lord GOD, the GOD of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to His glorious name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen."
Instead of seeing all our struggles and seeing how hard life can be on a daily basis, we all need to see how faithful and wonderful our Savior is. And I must say to you, the world takes on an entirely new beauty when we stop focusing on what is going on in life and start focusing on THE ONE Who loves us in ways we cannot fully comprehend. Shouldn't that be the way we approach life everyday? "If we only look at how harsh life is treating us, we will begin to sink. But if we focus on the LORD of glory, we can walk above every storm with JESUS our Savior leading and upholding us.
The phrase in verse 19 jumped off the page to me this morning: "May the whole earth be filled with His glory." I can't fill the whole earth with His glory, that's impossible! But I sure can fill my world with His glory, and with praises, and with thanksgiving from my mouth. I just can't stop praising His Name!
That's my choice. How about you?
