Matthew 19:13-14
Then children were brought to him that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples rebuked the people, but Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of heaven.”
Romans 8:16-17
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.
What a testimony to Christ's love. Did you know that "the only person who dares wake up a king at 3am for a glass of water is a child. And we have that kind of access." (Tim Keller)
"Access granted" is announced in secure facilities. We are secure in His loving embrace and He bids us to come to Him, to pray, and to commune. What a wonderful way to begin a day, to know the Father's gesture to come, and to enjoy His presence.
