China (International Christian Concern) – Due to lack of registration, on December 1, 2019, local authorities raided a church in China’s coastal Zhejiang province and removed furniture, piano, and cookware from the church.

China Aid reports that during the conflict, members of the Nubu Church- Ganxi branch attempted to stop the police, but were beaten in return. Some bled while others suffered fractures.

The church’s first attempt to petition their case in Beijing was leaked so they had to abort the plan. Yet the local government continued to prevent the church from having service, so the church had no choice but heading to Beijing to successfully report their case.

On January 3, five male members from the church were detained under the charge of “disturbing public order” as a result. While three of them have since been released on bail, two still remain in detention.

HOW TO PRAY: Pray for healing for all those who were injured during this raid. Pray for all confiscated property to be returned quickly. Pray for members of this church to remain strong in their faith.
