Good Friday Passion Prayer 2020

On Good Friday, Save the Persecuted Christians will be praying for our precious brothers and sisters in danger of death, violence and captivity for following Christ. Will you be like Simon of Cyrene and help them carry the cross?

Beginning Good Friday, Apr. 10 at 6:00 a.m. in Jerusalem and continuing non-stop until 6:00 a.m. in Jerusalem on Holy Saturday*, faith leaders from all over the world will be online, via Zoom, praying for Persecuted Christians during our 2nd annual Passion Prayer for Persecuted Christians. (*In the United States, our prayer is from 12 a.m. EDT Apr. 10 to 12 a.m. EDT Apr. 11) This is a multi-denominational Holy Spirit-led experience. All Christian and Jewish faith traditions are welcome!

‘Whoever wishes to come after me must
deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.’” – Mk 8:34

We will have hosts from all over the world who will be leading prayer throughout the 24-hour prayer vigil. On Good Friday, JOIN THE WEBCAST at anytime during the event—even if you haven't signed up. Share this information with your family and friends. Prayer will be continuous for 24 hours. Pop-in and pop-out as you are able to join in prayer.

Added to our prayers this year will be our intentions for an end to the coronavirus and the placement of a protective shield over the suffering body of Christ who are at greater risk of persecution under cover of darkness which has turned the world's attention away from their perilous plight.

For detailed information, Zoom conference logistics, and to sign up to receive prayer prompts and updates please visit our webpage for Passion Prayer 2020, and share with your family and friends.

A huge thank you to our grassroots members who have already signed up. Thank you for all you do to engage with us on this critical movement of solidarity!

Sincerely, your sister in Christ,
