Preacher Dai Zhichao detained
About five years since more than 100 believers from Chengdu Early Rain Covenant Church were taken to the police station, church Preacher Dai Zhichao was detained for "picking quarrels and provoking trouble." Here's how the CCP persecutes Chengdu ERCC especially hard during the Christmas season.
Pray for strength and courage for Preacher Dai and Chengdu ERCC.
Christians harshly persecuted at the airport
Officials forcefully confiscated documentation, and dragged Christian Wen Huijuan and her mother-in-law, when the family was at Yuncheng City Airport attempting to travel. Wen, a member of Linfen Covenant House Church, is the wife of detained Christian Wang Qiang. More on Wen's efforts to file a case against her persecutors.
Pray for Wen, her family, and for their persecutors to stop their harassment.
Case against Christians continues in Inner Mongolia
The trial against Wang Honglan and other Christians accused of selling Bibles continues, with the prosecution refusing to let the defendants see the original case files. The judge also made a sudden decision to hold proceedings over the weekend without consulting the defense. Follow along with the proceedings of the case.
Pray for the Lord's peace over these Christians on trial, and for softened hearts for their accusers.
