IDOP: Finding Life
VOM’s Short Video, Finding Life, Now Available
“For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it.”
–Matthew 16:25

Despite years of imprisonment and other persecution, VOM founders Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand faithfully advanced the gospel amid Nazi oppression in Romania during World War II. By choosing to “lose” their earthly lives, sacrificing their comfort and safety in this world, they found true life in Jesus Christ.

Today, our persecuted Christian brothers and sisters are Finding Life that counts for eternity at the cost of harassment, imprisonment and even death. Like the Wurmbrands and countless other courageous believers throughout church history, they are examples for us.

We invite you to watch VOM’s short film, Finding Life, which was produced for this year’s International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians (IDOP), Nov. 7. Finding Life portrays Richard and Sabina’s courageous faith under Nazi oppression, and it will inspire your family, group, class or church to walk that same path of bold obedience. (Video run time is 5 min.)

Print resources and free downloadable resources are available to enhance your IDOP emphasis. And you may also download and forward the new sermon-builder resource to your pastor for review.
