Guo Feixiong Meets With Lawyer
Chinese human rights activist Guo Feixiong was able to virtually meet with his lawyer on June 16th, ChinaAid's media team learned this week. His case was handed to the prosecutor's office on June 10th. suggesting formal charges might arise against Guo.

Chinese officials blocked Guo from coming to America to visit his ill wife, who later passed away in January 2022. In January 2022, ChinaAid, along with partner organizations, hosted the "Protest For Freedom" rally calling on the CCP to release Guo to visit America for his wife's funeral and to comfort their two surviving children.

Please keep Guo and his children in your prayers, along with the CCP officials handling his case in China.

Prayers Needed For Minister An & Zhang
Minister An Yankui of Taiyuan Zion Reformed Church and his collegue, Zhang Chenghao, were criminally detained in November 2021. Zhang's wife, Gao Juan, said that Zhang's lawyer was able to have a recent meeting with him.

The attorney disclosed that Zhang Chenghao looked thinner but looked well. Zhang Chenghao said that he felt peaceful in prison but was worried about other people’s situations and concerned that his parents would be attacked by rumors and slander. His attorney also accessed the file of the case. At this point, the two Christians’ case has been handed to the court and their indictment is still “crossing the border illegally."

Gao asked for prayers for both An and Zhang.

"May the Lord be glorified in the entire process and reveal His justice, the case will advance, and the attorney will be used by God to convey justice in the court. May the Lord lead Zhang Chenghao so that his heart can be steadfast in God’s grace and filled with peace and joy."
