2022 IRF Summit Recap
Thank you to everyone who prayed for the ChinaAid team and partners as we attended and participated at the 2022 International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit in Washington D.C. in late June!

- ChinaAid with the Presbyterian Church of Taiwan hosted a side event discussing 'The Future of Religious Freedom and Democracy In Taiwan.' Click here to watch the replay on Facebook!

- ChinaAid also hosted a side event covering 'Religious Persecution In Xi's Digital Tyranny' that featured comments from CCP concentration camp survivor Ovalbek Turdakun. Thank you for helping rescue Ovalbek and his family to the USA in April so he can share his story. Click here to watch the replay on Facebook!

- ChinaAid also co-hosted an event with AG Immigration discussing the asylum process for victims of religious persecution that included testimony from Shi Minglei, the wife of jailed human rights activist Cheng Yuan. Click here to watch the replay om Facebook!

Please also remember to write a letter to Cheng while he remains in prison for his human rights activism. Every letter is such an encouraging blessing to those behind bars in China for human rights and religious freedom activism.

Thank you again for your prayers and support of those who face persecution. The IRF Summit was a powerful time for attendees who were able to hear stories of persecution directly from survivors themselves. Former Ambassador for International Religious Freedom Sam Brownback wrote on Twitter how he was "honored to meet" members of Early Rain Covenant Church.

Please keep all those who are persecuted for their faith and stand for freedom across China in your prayers, along with all of the attendees at the 2022 IRF Summit in June.

Update About Brother Zhao Weikai
ChinaAid published an update this week about Christian brother Zhao Weikai of Taiyuan Zion Reformed Church. Brother Zhao was arrested nearly a year ago. His wife, Li Xin, said Brother Zhao remains in good health and is peaceful as he remains jailed in Fangshan County Detention Center.

Visit ChinaAid's website to learn more about Brother Zhao and Taiyuan Zion Reformed Church and to learn how his arrest was meant to target Minister An Yankui.

Please keep Brother Zhao, Sister Li, the congregants of Taiyuan Zion Reformed Church, and the officials and guards at Fangshan County Detention Center in your prayers.

Christians Persecuted On The Internet
Chinese officials continue to crack down on Christian content across the Internet. A report emerged in July that a Chinese Christian was banned from the DingTalk communication platform for a year for "publishing illegal religious content."

Visit ChinaAid's website to learn more about CCP officials continue to crack down on religious content across the Internet in light of new restrictions that came into force on March 1st.

Please keep all Chinese Christians in your prayers, especially those who continue to minister and share the Gospel across the Internet.
