Preventing Potential Kidnappings In Jeju
American partners have visited the exiled Mayflower Church in Jeju Island, South Korea to protect the congregation from potential kidnapping attempts by CCP agents. ChinaAid and other partners believe the group remains at serious risk of transnational kidnapping or repatriation.

As partners of ChinaAid and Freedom Seekers International continue to visit the congregation, please keep sending encouraging emails to the Mayflower Church (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).

Church members read every message and are so thankful for the global support!

Please keep the entire Mayflower Church in your prayers, along with their persecutors in the CCP.

Banned From Attending Mom's Funeral
ChinaAid's media team reported on sobering news relating to former Early Rain Qingcaodi Church elder Hao Ming. On August 3rd, Hao's mother Yin Zhixiu passed away, but the jailed Elder Hao was prevented from saying any last words or attending his mom's funeral. Yin's memoral service was held on August 5th.

About a month ago, Elder Hao was permitted to video call his mother. She said "I believe in Him!" when asked about her belief in God, leading Elder Hao to remark “If you believe, we should not be afraid. We will have peace and joy from God. Our flesh may perish, but we will return to our home in heaven.”

Please keep Elder Hao and his colleague Elder Wu Jian in your prayers along with all those who keep persecuting these leaders and the church.

Millions In Fines For A House Church
A house church in Zhuhai continues to ask for prayers as they face multiple administrative penalties and fines that now total over $5 million dollars. The Wang Family Wedding Church was raided in September 2016 and has faced immense persecution in the years following the crackdown.

In a July prayer letter - the church asks for prayer for the following

1. Pray for the pastor and co-workers who are punished; pray that they will have the strength and wisdom to face penalties.

2. Pray for the law enforcement and judicial personnel in Zhuhai city, including the Zhuhai Religious Bureau, the Public Security Bureau, and the Intermediate People’s Court.

3. Pray for the team of lawyers representing them.

4. To combat accusations of illegal acts, we need more lawyers to participate, so let’s pray for more lawyers to provide us with legal services.

Calls For Sanctions Against CCP Officials
ChinaAid joined more than 50 human rights groups in signing a letter urging U.S. officials to impose sanctions on CCP officials who were implicated in the Xinjiang Police Files release.

The Xinjiang Police Files were released by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation (VOCMF) in May detailing the atrocities by the Chinese government in Xinjiang concentration camps. After an anonymous source leaked the details, Dr. Adrian Zenz at VOCMF verified their authenticity. Findings included over 2,000 photos of detainees, over 300,000 personal records, and instructions for guards of the concentration camps. Many of the inmates shown in the photos and records were as old as 74 and as young as 14.

Please keep everyone unjustly jailed in concentration camps across Xinjiang in your prayers, along with the CCP officials and guards in charge of each camp.
