MATTHEW 5:13-16
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your FATHER in heaven.”
JESUS CHRIST had twelve close disciples, He had a good relationship with each of them, He knew everyone by name, He knew their heart, and they knew His. —-Who are you really influencing today? —What is the fruit of your transformed life?
We all need to learn from godly and discerning voices. The world needs HOLY SPIRIT-led believers who will speak truth, guide us through trials, and teach us about GOD and His Kingdom ministry, and JESUS’ culture. A major part of the problem in this day and age of increasing godlessness is that we are looking for answers in the wrong places. When we turn to the voices of today’s culture for wisdom—news outlets; social media; celebrities; athletes; musicians or politicians, we open ourselves to human platforms with no allegiance to or love for the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST. One of the major ways to combat this and ensure our worldview is shaped by the gospel is by listening to voices that lead us toward holiness. —Who then or what do we want to shape and influence our lives? The world’s culture will try to ‘disciple’ us if we have not placed ourselves under the transforming power and influence of JESUS CHRIST.

Dear GOD, may we increasingly be more open and sensitive to the ONE true INFLUENTIAL CREATOR of all who alone can shape us to influence others toward faith and good works that honor and glorify our Savior and LORD JESUS!! Amen.
