Philippians 1:6 “being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of CHRIST JESUS .”
Philippians 1:6 assures us that we can be confident in GOD, the Heavenly FATHER, because He has begun the work of salvation in our lives in CHRIST JESUS, and He will complete that work on the day CHRIST returns. With GOD there are no would-have-beens, should-have-beens, or could-have-beens; because GOD always finishes what He starts. Remember His amazing creation; everything He created was set in place and completed before He made Adam and Eve to enjoy all that GOD created! Nothing failed but Adam and Eve when they committed their sin of disobedience!! Thank GOD He had the great plan of salvation set up in CHRIST JESUS to recover man’s lostness!! GOD, through CHRIST offers mankind the gift to become a new creation in CHRIST JESUS. Every born again person is a new creation, and GOD continues to work in our lives as His sons and daughters. His Word says,”that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of CHRIST JESUS. We are not yet perfect. Thank GOD He has not stopped working in us and we will all be made complete and perfect on the great day of our LORD JESUS CHRIST!
Prayer:
FATHER, I thank You that You have begun a good work in me, and You will continue to perfect it until the day of of the Lord JESUS CHRIST. I thank You are working in me, giving me both the desire and the power to do what pleases You. In JESUS’
