ONE LIFE TO LIVE
Psalm 118:17
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.”
Man has always been faced with situations that threaten his very existence. Many of us are facing challenges today of varying severity. Some threaten our joy, health, family, ministry, safety, and prosperity. Others threaten our very life. Like the Psalmist, in the same spirit of faith, we are encouraged to declare that “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.” This is not positive thinking or having an optimistic worldview. It is putting our trust and faith in our faithful and mighty GOD who is able to rescue us from everything that threatens our life. When He brings us through those threats, we will live to tell the story. You and I will live to declare the works of the LORD to our generation and those to come! JESUS said in John 10:10
“I have come that you may have life and have life more abundantly!”
Real life begins in CHRIST, and having faith in Him grants us the humbling honor and privilege to live and not die!! We’re called to declare His good and marvelous works!
