PHILIPPIANS 1:3-6
3-“I thank my GOD every time I remember you. 4-In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy
5-because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,
6-being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of CHRIST JESUS.”
Biblical gospel partnership is about doing whatever each of us has to do to accomplish the vision or goal that JESUS CHRIST has set out for us to accomplish—the Great Commission ( Matthew 28:18-20). Paul knew that he could not minister the gospel alone and neither could the Philippians. Every believer In CHRIST is called to this Gospel partnership. And this partnership with GOD is meant to lead us into meaningful partnerships as brothers and sisters in the family of GOD (1 John 1:3). The participatory nature of this partnership leads to both relational intimacy as well as to a fruitful advance of the Gospel. —The principle of partnership is a Scriptural and covenant-based means of the effective spread of the Gospel of the kingdom of GOD. —The greatest blessing of this partnership is knowing that through our prayers and financial participation, lives are being changed all over the world. In this partnership, you and I are sowing seeds that will last for all eternity. —We not only bless the people that are being touched by the ministry, but we start a supernatural flow of funds and good works as believers partake in the anointing, vision and, therefore, enjoy the blessings that come from the Gospel of GOD’s grace in CHRIST JESUS.
Prayer:
ABBA FATHER, thank You that You initiated this Gospel partnership through the life, death and the resurrection of CHRIST JESUS. As Your sons and daughters, we are greatly blessed and honored to be partners with You in the spread of the Gospel. May we Your people be willing vessels in spreading Your great work of salvation through every good work, persistent prayers, financial generosity, self-sacrifice, commitment and faithfulness, until all have heard of the Gospel of Your grace, in JESUS’ Wonderful Name. Amen.
