Proverbs 16:3
“Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.”
This verse tells us we should rely on GOD in all things. Whether the matters are great or small, we should entrust them to our Heavenly FATHER, and look up to Him, because the LORD holds sovereignty over everything and there is nothing difficult if we rely on Him. Have you had a taste of His will in your life? In CHRIST, we’ve been given all things we need for life and godliness! The FATHER sent His Son and JESUS committed Himself to the FATHER. To commit ourselves to GOD means that you and I must surrender all things to Him. It also means seeking Him and His Word daily. And when we do, His SPIRIT will establish us in whatever we do. Committing oneself or one's plans to GOD means to entrust oneself entirely to His plan.
Psalm 37:5 says, “Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER, I have many plans and I know that not all of them are the same as Your plans for me but I commit them to You. Use those plans that you know are a blessing for me and others, plans that are in accordance with Your will. In the Gracious Name of JESUS, I pray. Amen.
