Romans 15:1-4
“We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. 2-Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 3-For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: “The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me.” 4-For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.”
We have been provided with GOD’s word to help guide us through life. Our enemy the devil is busy feeding us lies every day, and GOD knows we need a source of truth. JESUS said in John 14:6 that He Is the TRUTH. We are also indwelt by the HOLY SPIRIT who is from GOD. As believers in CHRIST, the LORD has graciously given us everything we need for life and for godliness. Though we all experience setbacks, GOD has thoroughly equipped us for us to be encouraged even as we go through hard times. Like David, let’s learn to encourage ourselves and one another, thereby proving the reality of GOD’s presence, His promises, and His power in our lives, so that we may also be a source of encouragement to others.
