Acts 3:6
“But Peter said, “I have no silver and gold, but what I do have I give to you. In the name of JESUS CHRIST of Nazareth, rise up and walk!”

One of the key themes in this verse is the power of faith and the authority BESTOWED upon the disciples by the LORD JESUS. Throughout the Gospels, JESUS empowered His followers to continue His work on earth, including performing miracles and acts of healing. In this verse, Peter demonstrates his faith in the name of JESUS and exercises the authority GIVEN to him by performing a miraculous healing. The verse also highlights the contrast between spiritual and material wealth. While the man at the temple gate was seeking material assistance in the form of silver and gold, Peter offers him something far more valuable - the opportunity to walk, to be whole at no cost, and to experience the transformative power of GOD. This serves as a reminder that true wealth is found in the blessings and salvation offered by JESUS CHRIST, rather than in earthly possessions. No amount of earthly wealth could have freed the man from his deformity.  His miraculous healing was priceless! —The miracle at the temple gate was a public demonstration of the power and authority GIVEN to the disciples by JESUS, and it served as a powerful testimony to the truth of the Gospel.

What do you have that can make a lasting impact in the lives of those around you?

Prayer:
LORD, thank You for giving Your followers the authority and power to bring Your grace, compassion, mercy, and love to those we encounter in this life. May we honor You as we respond in faith to give them what You have freely given us in CHRIST JESUS. Amen.

In CHRIST Alone,
