John 3:2–3
“We are now the sons of GOD, and when He appears, we shall be like Him.”
Does your life reflect CHRIST-likeness? Is JESUS the central figure in your life?
Living a CHRIST-centered life means we learn about JESUS CHRIST and His gospel and then we follow His example and keep His commandments with an utmost devotion.
The prophet Isaiah stated, “But now, O LORD, thou art our FATHER; we are the clay, and thou our potter; and we all are the work of thy hand.”
If GOD is the Potter and we are the clay, do we let Him make us, mold us, and transform us to become more and more like JESUS CHRIST?
To live a CHRIST-centered life is to have an internal passion for something greater than what the world externally offers. It is a motivation from within that compels a person to make JESUS their highest aim for the pleasure of bringing GOD the highest glory.
To have a CHRIST-centered life means to abide in CHRIST. To abide in CHRIST means to walk as He walked. Not just in our words, but in our actions and thoughts. We must live our lives in obedience to His words and love for His commands.
Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with CHRIST; it is no longer I who live, but CHRIST lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of GOD, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
Prayer…
Heavenly FATHER,
“I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing CHRIST JESUS my Lord.” Help me to have the same perspective in my own life, pursuing and treasuring the knowledge of CHRIST above all else. Forgive me for the times, I have allowed worldly affairs, distractions and selfish ambitions to pull me away from the path of following JESUS and His righteousness. FATHER GOD, I humbly request the strength and perseverance to keep running this race of faith with endurance that my whole life and purpose will only reflect CHRIST JESUS, my Savior and my Lord. In JESUS’ Righteous Name, I pray. Amen.
