Burma
Dear friends,
Thank you again for all your prayers and support, especially for the FBR film last week! We are encouraged by everyone who went to see it and helped spread the word! This Sunday, March 8, is the Global Day of Prayer for Burma. It’s a day when people gather to pray for the people of Burma and an end to ongoing oppression there, as well as a celebration of the people’s resilience in the face of this oppression. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about what you saw in the film and the ongoing needs for Burma’s ethnic minorities. As part of the day, we publish a magazine that features news and stories from around Burma and the people working to make a positive impact towards peace. Please click the magazine covers to download a copy of the magazine.
We hope you will join us in praying for and learning more about Burma and her people!
God bless you,
Dave, family, and FBR
Unite for freedom, justice and peace
Forgive and do not hate each other
Pray with faith, Act with courage
Never surrender
The Free Burma Rangers (FBR) mission is to provide hope, help and love to internally displaced people inside Burma, Sudan, Kurdistan, Iraq and Syria regardless of ethnicity or religion. Using a network of indigenous field teams, FBR reports on human rights abuses, casualties and the humanitarian needs of people who are under oppression. FBR provides medical, spiritual and educational resources for IDP communities as they struggle to survive attacks.
