Dr. Bob Fu Praying at The Return.

(China Aid Association—Oct. 2, 2020) More than 30,000 Christians from 50 states attended “The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance" at the National Mall Saturday afternoon, September 26 at 2 pm. During this time, Dr. Bob Fu, the founder, and president of China Aid Association led millions of Christians across the world to intercede for freedom of religion in China.

President Trump, First Lady of the United States, Melania, and Vice President Mike Pence also attended The Return along with other Christian leaders, including Reverend. Franklin Graham, an American Protestant, evangelist, Anne Graham Lotz, Alveda King, Michelle Bachman, and prominent worship leaders.

Lee Greenwood, singer, and songwriter of “God Bless the USA,” sang this song at the Lincoln Memorial as the audience clapped and cheered. “I am American, I am proud, and I know that I have freedom, I will never ever forget those who sacrificed life for it, it is they who granted me liberty and freedom. I am so honored to stand with you and protect America—the land of the free.”

Vice President Pence delivered a speech, praying for the US, laws, the system, the military, police, and the families of those who died of Corvid-19. President Trump’s message on the White House website resounds the tone of others attending: “I am pleased to join my voice to yours in thanking God for blessing this nation with great power and responsibility. With reverence, humility, and thanksgiving, we beg for His continued guidance and protection.”

Dr. Fu prayed for the people of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) persecutes. He said, “I especially pray for Xi Jinping’s repentance and the collapse of the CCP. May God grant stamina and courage to those who are imprisoned for the sake of righteousness in China.”
