Dear ChinaAid family,

Thank you for bringing two brave Chinese dissidents to safety in the Netherlands.

With the help of generous partners like you, a team of ChinaAid staff and people associated with Freedom Seekers International of Tyler, Texas flew to Europe in mid-July to meet Wang and Wu to directly rescue both from the immenent threat of the Chinese Communist Party.

They spent several days with them providing spiritual encourgement while arranging travel logistics to the Netherlands. Team members also prepared Wang and Wu to apply for asylum.

On July 20th, Wang Jingyu and Wu Huan arrived at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport to apply for asylum as refugees. This photo was taken just minutes after both stepped off the plane!

Wang and Wu have been brutally persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party, who were relentless over the last several weeks in issuing threats against both of them.

Several days ago, Chinese Communsit Party officials emailed Wang and explained they knew he was hiding in Ukraine.

But praise the Lord both Wang and Wu are able to now remain safe as they apply for asylum in the Netherlands since the country does not have an extradition treaty with China!

As you can see, a lot has been happening in the last few days!  Fortunately, I was able to work with some friends in the Netherlands and found a Dutch Christian lawyer who agreed to represent Wang and Wu as they go through the asylum process.

The lawyer said they have already met with Wang and Wu, reporting both were in good spirits!

I'd be so thankful if you can join me in prayer for Wang and Wu to have a successful asylum process, and for all of our friends in the Netherlands who are helping this brave couple. Please also pray for the quick recovery of all team members who flew thousands of miles over the last few days to help Wang and Wu escape the grip of the Chinese Communist Party.

If after prayerful consideration, you'd like to contribute towards the legal expenses for Wang and Wu's asylum case in the Netherlands as their lawyer works on their behalf, please click here to make a gift

Thank you for your heart for protecting those who face persecution by the Chinese Communist Party,

P.S: The Associated Press wrote an article about the rescue of Wang and Wu. Click here to read it!
