Here's the latest on religious freedom, human rights, and the rule of law across China.

Zhu Yufu Banned From Seeing Sister
Officials took the passport of famous democracy activist Zhu Yufu to block him from visiting his terminally ill sister in Japan. In total, Zhu has spent 16 years in jail and house arrest, and remains under house arrest since his release in 2018. Here's why Zhu is deemed as 'Zhejang's number one threat' to social stability.

Pray for Zhu, his family and friends, and his CCP persecutors.

U.S. Ambassador Visits Prisoners In China
News emerged that U.S. Ambassador to China Nicholas Burns visited three U.S. citizens wrongfully detained in China. One was Chinese-American Pastor David Lin who was jailed in 2006 for helping a house church build a church building. Lin's scheduled for release in 2030. Read how Pastor Lin has ministered the Gospel while in prison.

Pray for Pastor Lin and all those unjustly jailed in China.

Hong Kong Bishop Visits Beijing
Earlier in April, Catholic Diocese of Hong Kong Bishop Stephen Chow led a five-day visit to Beijing. The trip marked the first time a Bishop visited Beijing since the 1997 Hong Kong handover to China. Read what Chow's reasoning for the trip was on ChinaAid's website.

Pray for Bishop Chow and all Catholics in China and Hong Kong.

New Committee To Twist The Gospel
ChinaAid reported on work by the Qingdao City Christian Council to establish a new "Special Committee to Advance the Sinicization of Christianity." The effort might be the first committee in China to promote the development of the Gospel in the Chinese Communist context. Read how the committee is in line with Xi Jinping's proposals on religious Sinicization.

Pray for all CCP officials across China and with President Xi Jinping.

The Colson Center writes how God has been at work with the Mayflower Church leading up to their safe arrival in the USA! Please also pray for Mayflower Church member Linda who recently celebrated her birthday in America!

Please keep praying for the church as they adjust to life in the USA. If the Lord leads you, consider partnering with ChinaAid to help cover resettlement costs and basic living expenses for church members.

We'd love to join in prayer for you and your loved ones! Please visit our Freedom To Pray Website to share your prayer request via our online form.
